1. About Career Compass

Career Compass helps users understand their work preferences, understand the working demands described in job opportunities, and compare the two.

2. Acceptance of These Terms

By creating an account, accessing or using Career Compass, you agree to these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree with these terms, you should not use Career Compass.

3. Your Account

You are responsible for providing accurate information when creating and maintaining your Career Compass account.

You are also responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for activity conducted through your account.

You should notify us if you believe your account has been accessed or used without your authorisation.

4. Work Preference Assessment

The Career Compass Work Preference Assessment is intended to help you reflect on the way you prefer to work.

It measures preferences rather than intelligence, professional ability, personality type, employability or competence.

There are no inherently better or worse scores on the work preference dimensions.

Assessment results should therefore be interpreted as decision-support information rather than as a professional, psychological or clinical assessment.

5. Job Analysis and Fit Results

Career Compass may analyse job descriptions and compare relevant working demands with your current Work Preference Profile.

A Career Compass fit result reflects only the dimensions that can reasonably be assessed from the information available to the service.

Job descriptions may be incomplete, inaccurate, outdated or may not fully represent the actual responsibilities, working environment, management style or expectations of the employer.

6. Use of Artificial Intelligence

Career Compass may use artificial intelligence to help identify and structure information contained in job descriptions.

AI-generated or AI-assisted outputs can contain errors, omissions or interpretations that do not perfectly reflect the role or employer.

You should review the original job description and use your own judgement when making career decisions.

7. Information You Submit

You are responsible for information and documents you submit to Career Compass.

You should not submit information that you do not have the right to use, or unnecessary confidential, sensitive or personal information belonging to another person.

By submitting information for analysis, you permit us and the service providers used to operate Career Compass to process that information as reasonably necessary to provide the requested service.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse Career Compass. In particular, you must not:

• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the service or another user's account.
• Interfere with the operation or security of the service.
• Use automated methods to abuse, overload or improperly extract information from the service.
• Attempt to circumvent usage limits, payment requirements or access restrictions.
• Use Career Compass for unlawful, fraudulent or abusive purposes.
• Copy, reproduce or commercially exploit substantial parts of Career Compass except where permitted by law or by us in writing.

9. Complimentary and Paid Access

Career Compass may provide certain functionality or a limited number of analyses on a complimentary basis. Additional usage or features may require a paid plan.

The applicable price, taxes, duration, included usage and other plan details will be displayed before you purchase a paid plan.

Paid plans are fixed-term access plans. They do not automatically renew unless an automatic-renewal arrangement is expressly stated before purchase.

Analyses included in a paid plan must be used during that plan's validity period. Unless otherwise stated before purchase, unused analyses do not carry over after the plan expires.

We may change available plans, features or pricing for future purchases. Changes will not alter a completed purchase except where permitted by the applicable terms or required by law.

10. Payments

Payments for paid Career Compass plans may be processed by Razorpay or another third-party payment provider. Additional terms, privacy practices and security requirements of the payment provider may apply to your transaction.

The amount payable, including applicable taxes, will be shown before you complete a purchase. A paid plan is activated only after the payment has been successfully verified by Career Compass.

If money is debited but paid access is not activated, please contact us at programs@apollodorpartners.com so that the transaction can be reviewed.

11. Refunds and Cancellations

Career Compass provides digital access that is activated after successful payment verification. Once a paid plan has been activated, the purchase is generally non-refundable and cannot be cancelled for a pro-rated refund.

We will review refund requests where there is a duplicate charge, an incorrect charge, or a payment has been successfully debited but the corresponding paid access has not been provided. We will also provide a refund where required by applicable law.

To request a review, email programs@apollodorpartners.com with the email address used for your Career Compass account and relevant transaction details.

Where a refund is approved, it will ordinarily be processed through the original payment method. The time taken for the refunded amount to appear may depend on the payment provider, bank or payment method.

12. Intellectual Property

Career Compass, including its assessment framework, interface, written content, analysis framework, branding, software and related materials, is owned by or licensed to Apollodor Partners LLP, except for material belonging to third parties.

Your use of Career Compass does not transfer ownership of these materials or grant you rights beyond those necessary to use the service in accordance with these Terms.

13. Availability and Changes to the Service

We may update, improve, modify or temporarily suspend parts of Career Compass as the service develops.

We do not guarantee that Career Compass will always be available without interruption, delay or technical error.

14. No Employment or Professional Guarantee

Career Compass does not guarantee interviews, job offers, employment, career progression, workplace performance, compensation or any other professional outcome.

Employers make their own recruitment and employment decisions independently of Career Compass and Apollodor Partners.

15. Limitation of Responsibility

Career Compass provides information and decision support based on the information available to the service.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Apollodor Partners LLP is not responsible for decisions made solely on the basis of Career Compass outputs, or for losses resulting from inaccurate, incomplete or outdated information supplied by users, employers or third parties.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any rights or liabilities that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

16. Suspension or Termination

We may restrict or suspend access to Career Compass where reasonably necessary to address misuse, security concerns, violations of these Terms, legal requirements or risks to the service or its users.

17. Privacy

Our collection and handling of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy .

18. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms as Career Compass evolves or as legal, regulatory or operational requirements change.

The latest version will be published on this page with an updated revision date. Where appropriate, we may provide additional notice of material changes.
